Cats
The Enchanted Cats
Our original cats, Innana and Sophia crossed the rainbow Bridge in 2022 and 2024 respectively after 17 and 20 years with us. Life was not the same for us.

Last Fall it got very cold and one of the cats born behind the old shop had lost his cuddle mate. We worried that he wouldn't be able to stay warm through the Winter. His name is Tank and he earned the name legitimately....he is a big boy.Tank is 12 years old and has no teeth. He eats a can of food twice a day. Many of his adoring public used to provide food for him in his outdoor years so he is well known in the neighborhood. He is lovey and friendly when he feels like being with people and he has some adjustment issues. We love him.

About 5 months ago Spencer was approached by a customer sharing that a family member had passed and left a cat. If we weren't interested they would have to take her to a shelter. Of course we couldn't let that happen and we got our second kitty. Creme is 8 years old and a pretty princess and knows it. Super sociable, she spends a lot of time by the register so as many people as possible can adore her. She is laid back and loves to be petted. She has finally reached a truce with Tank and they live in peace now. The family informed us that whenever her owner would take out her Tarot cards, the cat would come running. She was obviously in training!!!
if you tune into our podcasts, the cats frequently participate!!!
Saying Goodbye
It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we must say goodbye to Sophia and Innana.

I can remember the day Robin and I took them in off the street. They were born in the old lumber yard and were wandering Main Street. They immediately took to being shop cats and loved the constant flow of adoration that came through our doors. Over the years, parents bribed their children with potential visits to see the cats if they ate their dinners or many just stopped in to see them on a weekly basis or while home visiting.
They were a destination for many. In tough economic times Robin joked about charging for cat petting!!! Of course that would never happen. So many memories…..broken windows from tapping too hard to get the cat’s attention, dogs going through the glass to get to them, Innana trying to sneak out in the bottom of a stroller. Years of wonderful moments with our girls. It will be impossible to ever forget them and the love and joy they brought to us and so many others.
Please help us remember the many years of Sophie and Innana’s life with your photos and memories. Sophie is resting near her sister and I am sure she is celebrating her new life with Innana and Robin.
Peace and love ladies.
