Safe Spaces

I just listened to the Inauguration speeches, had a good cry and decided to write this blog.

Many will be feeling unsafe, unprotected and alone in our new political environment. We want you to know that Enchanted Moments has been a safe place for you in the past and will continue to be going forward. All Earthly beings are welcome and supported. We will support off world entities if they choose to identify themselves. Sorry I just had to say that!

Robin and I started Enchanted Moments to be a place that offered a safe haven to explore spirituality regardless of where it led and offer our bits of wisdom of lives well lived along the way. I have experienced a lot in my 72years and learned quite a bit as well. Our reason for existing is imple.....LOVE. If nothing else, remember that “LOVE IS WHY WE ARE HERE”. It is why your soul is expressing itself right now and why our shop exists as a place of peace and harmony for everyone.

Please feel free to come in as you need to whether or not you shop, we are here to give hugs and share moments of love at all times.

Love and light,
Monica

End of 2024

Take a moment to pause. Quiet your mind. Perhaps take a deep, enriching

breath and just honor where you are today.

You have made it.

Whatever 2024 had in store, you are now at the end of it.
And you should feel proud of just how far you have come.
Through all the ups and downs, through all the trials and tribulations,

here you are.

Open, ready, and eager to learn. Eager to keep deepening your spiritual

understanding of the world we live in.
Hold space for that for just a moment.

Honor yourself. Love yourself more than you ever have at this moment.

Happy New Year!!!

Thanksgiving

This is the time of year when the natural world rests. Many of the plant species go dormant and animals hibernate. The lesson for us is to take the time to be still and find our center. If we can do that regularly and truly remember ourselves for the next few months, we are better prepared for the rebirth in the Spring. Read More...

Samhain

Samhain (sow’en) is the last Harvest celebration on the wheel of the year. It has many special celebratory rituals associated with it and some of my favorites.

The natural world is going to sleep. Life is slowing down and giving way to the shorter days and colder nights. Many animals begin their hibernation and plants go dormant. It is a time for us to go inside ourselves and give our souls and minds a rest. Read More...

Mabon- Fall Equinox

In the Northern Hemisphere Mabon occurs this year astrologically on September 22, this Sunday. As opposed to Samhain and Yule for example, the Equinox celebrations can be multi-day celebrations connected to planting in the Spring and harvesting in the Fall. In addition to the harvest itself, the preparation of preserving the last of the fruits and grains for winter storage takes place. So you can create a series of activities to honor this part of the year. Read More...

Bullies

Everyone is back in school and some students will experience being bullied. It is a terrible situation and should be dealt with appropriately but we know this doesn’t always happen. Besides young people in school, many adults find themselves working for someone that is overbearing and possibly threatening to their mental and physical wellbeing. Read More...

Imbolc

Imbolc is the Sabbat between Yule and Ostara on February 2nd. It can be used in many ways to review our goals from Yule or set some new ones. However the original Imbolc was far more critical to our ancestors’ lives. Winter is well underway and food stores may be depleted. The people need an assessment of Nature’s progress. Do they carefully ration what remains to last longer or can they relax and know more food is on the way. In other words, is Spring coming or will it be delayed. How is this done? Read More...

Blue Lotus

Blue Lotus: A Remarkable Herbal Treasure

We are thrilled to announce that we have acquired whole Blue Lotus flowers, making them an exceptional addition to any herbal home pharmacy.

The Blue Lotus holds a significant place in the history of herbal medicine, with particular reverence in Egypt. It boasts a rich history as a "Heal-All" and has been celebrated as the ancestral flower in mythological creation stories. While it is often considered a nervous system tonic (nervine), its healing potential is extensive. Studies have also explored its lymph decongestant properties and uterine tonifying effects.

Getting Started with Crystals

When people come to the shop and want to get started with crystals, there is a group of stones that are usually the best choice for the beginner. It is important that no one goes overboard selecting everything that calls to them or following someone else’s instruction. Crystal shopping can easily get out of control for the seasoned collector, more so for the beginner.

It is like looking at candy!
